Q: If the courts granted my son's aunt and uncle de facto custodian, what steps do I take to establish visitation?
While I was incarcerated my son's aunt and uncle on his father's side serve me with papers and gained custody by the facto custodian. Since being released I completed treatment, completed parenting classes, maintained employment but they still will not allow me visitation. It's been over a year since I've seen him what can I do to establish visitation rights
A: You will have to file a motion in the court that grates de facto custodianship.
