A: I presume you are trying to understand the steps needed for you to regain custody and control of your child from DCPP? At the time that your child was taken from you, I presume that there was information provided to DCPP as to harm to the child, giving rise to its actions and as part of its decision to take your child, I presume that the DCPP rep provided you with information as to what the agency wanted you to do to be in a position to regain control over your child. My suggestion is that you review the materials provided and then schedule a meeting with the DCPP rep to review your current status and why you are in a different position today than you were in last year and why your role in your child's life today should be different.
