Q: Accident the person demands i pay the insurance via message and threatens me to court if i dont pay

But his insurance called me yesterday i gave my email and they didn't send me anything yet can he do that? The accident was caused threw a pothole and he was passing me at the right as i turned left to dodge but the car went threw the pothole and swinged to him at the rear and hitted him i do not have insurance and its not my vehicle and im unemployed at the moment it was my first accident
