A: You need to consult a civil or criminal defense attorney with expertise in this area and have them review the Oklahoma statutes related to service of process. As a general rule though, subpoenas are commonly served in person by a licensed process server or a law enforcement official or by mailing the subpoena. Subpoenas served by mail must be delivered by certified mail with return receipt requested. Again, you need to consult a civil or criminal offense attorney with experience in these matters.
