A: You should contact a seasoned criminal defense attorney to discuss the facts of your case as most of us will get free consultations over the phone or in person. The statute you have recited refers to merely drug “possession.” Possession of all drugs in Oklahoma is a misdemeanor (provided it doesn’t reach drug trafficking levels- which would be charged under 63 O.S. 2-415-, and they don’t find evidence that you are intending to share the drugs (packaging, manufacturing, weighing, selling or distributing) carrying a range of punishment up to one year in the county jail and up to $1000 in fines. But again, a Criminal Defense Atty can give you more precise direction. Good luck!
