My daughter's medical records were "missing" after a car accident making it difficult to get medical treatment. Our family found out someone filed a lawsuit claiming to represent her personal injuries. They used someone else's identity with the same fist and last name. Now years later we know why she's been denied medical care. Is the insurance company responsible for allowing this to happen during the claims process? She was never notified because they thought she was being represented. Who's responsible for compromising her identity?
