Q: Do tenants have right to cure in Oregon with 30 days notice?
It depends on the violation of the lease agreement. Under Oregon Law certain violations allow the tenant 14 days to cure the violation and if the violation is not cured by the deadline stated within the Notice to Cure, the tenant's tenancy will be terminated within 30 days of the notice being served. However, if the tenant has failed to pay rent generally the tenant has 72 hours or has 144 hours from the date of the notice being served to cure the violation by paying the amount owed in full to the landlord and if the tenant does pay their rent by the deadline the tenant's tenancy will be terminated within 30 days of the notice being served.
