My husband took her and requested to have blood work done for STD, pregnancy test A urine can check for Chlamydia & Gonorrhoeae . They did blood work for other , but the Physician & staff ended up getting her to sign consent for Pelvic , if needed? Then he used a speculum on her & ended up checking her with a swab, multiple ones & made comments , while he was between her legs saying "boys don't love you and only want 1 thing". My daughter was scared & crying because a speculum @ 16 yrs old shouldn't of been done! A PAP smear is required at the age of 21, to check for cervical cancer check . What do I do? A: And what is your question? If you meant to ask if you can sue, the answer is probably not; your daughter doesn't appear to have suffered any significant money damages.
