Moreno Valley, CA asked in Car Accidents for California

Q: I'm not trying to get money out of them they are trying to get money out of me they straight asked me if I had money to

Give them for damages that they were not going to be able to use it until it got inspected, then the lady told me to have the people come out to inspect it they charge $5,000 just to inspect it, they lied because they didn't realize I was still in parking lot and then seen cars going through the car wash and the car wash was working perfectly fine the only damage that was done was to my vehicle. When the car wash light flashed for me to back up before it began I went to back up but didn't realize I must have been off track because my passenger wheel and bumper got stuck on the side of the automatic washer wall then one of the employees took pictures which was fine with me . They said they were going to call the cops and I told them that I completely understand, that they could call the cops, then when their employee went to pull my car out I told him to back up the car to cause less damage but he didn't listen he went forward which caused the passenger door to become damaged

A: IFFFFF you are responsible, then you either turn it over to your insurance co or you are PERSONALLY LIABLE and possibly retain a lawyer to defend you.....if the amount if large enough.

usually, there is someone guiding you into the wash. Was there someone and did

s/he screw up?

i never buy a car and take it off the lot without notifying my ins agent for coverage.

this is what happens when there is no insurance.
