A: Consider scheduling a consultation with a competent and experienced immigration attorney who can look into the case on your behalves. Recently, USCIS has been processing cases very slowly. So, there may not be anything wrong with the case. That being said, it is not a bad idea to look into whether there is some other reason for the delay. There are mechanisms one may employ to try to "push" a case along, particularly when there are no underlying substantive problems. For example, one could try contacting the USCIS Ombudsman's Office or try contacting a U.S. Representative or Senator for help. An attorney could assist with such things. Note that ever since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, many attorneys are willing to conduct consultations over the phone or via video.
