A: A Texas attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for a week. It could depend on the severity of the burns. If they are temporary, with no serious permanent damage or disfigurement, it does not sound like a case that many injury law firms would handle on a contingency basis. This is not to downplay what you suffered. I hope you have a healthy recovery. But with the cost of litigation, most law firms that work on contingency basis screen cases conservatively. This is only an individual opinion - you could reach out to Texas attorneys to discuss. That's the best way to evaluate your matter, and you may find law firms that see things differently here. Good luck
