Q: can a spouse who was married only 2 months claim that the house is hers, when the deceased left everything to the son
the deceased husband had a will in place when he passed that left everything to his adult son. it was a deliberate will, as the daughters were left out and the new wife also was not included. son was executor and was left everything by the father. the new wife claims that she has widows rights and cannot be evicted from the home that the son now owns. the son has lived there with his dad until the time of his father's death, and pays the mortgage and the utilities. the step mother aka widow pays nothing towards the upkeep of the house and will not move out.
