Q: CHILD CUSTODY
I have an upcoming court child custody hearing. I have one child with the other party; however I have other children outside of that prior relationship. Does a child custody proceeding concern "solely" the child between the litigants or are all children of either party subject to the proceedings as well?
A: Only the child you have with this person can be considered for actual custody but the circumstances surrounding the other children may also be considered in determining the award of custody of the child in question.
