Q: Can i sue the sheriff dept. if im there to pick up my child without my id but my info and picture are in their data base

The mother of my kids got arrested with her 14 year old runaway from group home and my 2 year old with no car seat. The car was a rental and she hadn't returned the car. She got arrested for embezzlement. I arrived at the scene about 10 after. The cops were still trying to figure out what was going on. I get there and told them i was there to pick up my 2 year old. They asked for my id but i didnt have it, i had lost my wallet like 2 week before that. But i told them i was in the system. They searched my name and i appear in their laptop. My info and my picture were there but they told me that they couldn't confirm it was me so they called cps to pick up my child and told me i should go home and look for my old id and said take you're time its a lot of paper work you'll be the one waiting for us. I couldn't find my old id, by the time i got to the department it was closed, i literally took about 1 hour and 30 minutes from the scene to my house back to the department. Reason they were c

I DOUBT IF A LAWYER WOULD TAKE THIS CASE ON A CONTINGENCY

AS A RULE, THE PARTY WITH THE MOST MONEY HAS THE ADVANTAGE AS THEY CAN PAPER THE OTHER SIDE WITH SO MANY MOTIONS ETC THAT THE MATTER IS DROPPED.
