Q: my step daughter turns 16 next month. can her father just go pick her up . she wants to live with father not mom

A: If there is a court order, it must be followed until a Judge changes it. A request for modification should be filed with court.

If there is no court order in place, then both parents have equal rights until a court order says otherwise.

A: If her mom is ok with her living with her dad he can come pick her up
