Greenwood, MS asked in Personal Injury for Mississippi

Q: Is two years a long time to wait for lawyers to just even start talking filing suite.

have three large firms working together on my Catholic abuse claims suite. Two years have come and still no case . I have done my information 4 times over and over. The calls are ridiculously fragmented with questions and comments. And I find new info myself and then get it from them.

A: Thank you for reaching out, however, I cannot truly answer this question. Since you are represented you need to make an appointment to sit down face to face with the attorneys you hired and get a firm timeline. In general these cases are very detailed and complex issues, so it is not unreasonable to expect a delay in filing suit so that all aspects are covered before walking in to a court room. However, the best way to know something is to ask the firm you hired to lay out their reasoning for why things are moving at the pace they are.

I am sorry that this issue happened to you and wish you the best of luck.
