A: If you were physically assaulted by your partner and sustained a brain bleed that required hospitalization, it is important to seek medical attention immediately and report the assault to the authorities. Lying about the cause of your injuries may have legal consequences and can potentially harm your ability to receive financial assistance for medical bills or seek justice for the assault. It is important to be honest about the situation and seek help from domestic violence organizations, medical professionals, and law enforcement agencies. They can provide you with resources and support to help you leave the abusive relationship and protect yourself from future harm.
