Hello, I want to inquire. My father, mother, brothers, and sister live in the United States, but I live in Jordan alone, and I am 27 years old. Can I apply for parole for humanitarian reasons, knowing that I do not have any immigration case and I'm tired to apply for b1/b2 and every time I got denied please help me because I'm living alone and I want live with my family thanks

A: To be able to qualify for humanitarian parole, you need to establish a compelling emergency and there needs to an urgent humanitarian reason or significant public benefit for the parole to be granted. Simply wanting to visit your family does not qualify as an emergency. Further, if you want to live with your family in the United States neither parole nor a B2 visa would be appropriate, as both of those only allow for a temporary visit. It is unclear from your question what your family’s current immigration status is, so you may wish to explore if there is any possibility of immigrating through one of them.
