Q: Hi I took a urinalysis test for the company I work for to gain access to the refinery in our town for a contract we acqu
And I feel the collection process was that incorrectly we were the first into the office that morning and I was the first person to give a sample and there were probably eight people that went after me after I was done with my sample I left to smoke a cigarette and was outside across the street when the collections will ask me to come inside because they didn't have enough urine for their sample which I know that I did because I filled it above their line and I believe they mix my sample up because my sample was still on the counter after all those other people went and give their sample to them. Is there anything I can do to get this taken care of or do I have a lawsuit?
A: A Colorado attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for four weeks. Based on the details, it isn't clear what the consequences of the urine sample mix-up were. If it is something involving termination or suspension, then it's something that an employment attorney is best-qualified to advise on. You could reach out to employment attorneys to try to arrange a free consult to discuss if that's the case. If it doesn't involve something significant, such as disciplinary action or other job-related impact due to the sample mix-up, then it might be better not to waste money on legal fees to pursue. It depends on what the consequences of the sample mix-up were. Good luck
