Q: If I pay them, can they file through my car insurance even if they promised in writing not to?
I caused an accident but it was very low speed/damage. Just a couple nicks in their bumper. The person I hit wants to settle without insurance. They put in writing that if I pay them X amount, then they promise we will not go through insurance.
