Samsung's headquarters is in New Jersey. Do I file in Tennessee or New Jersey?
A: In Personam Jurisdiction varies greatly. If there is a contract, it might have a jurisdiction term, or you might be able to sue in the County where it was formed. With a tort, where the injury occurred. Almost always you can sue in the defendant's home place. Depending on the case, you might want to file in your County's General Sessions.
