A: An attorney couldn't tell you exactly what's going on without reviewing the notice and your wife's listing. However, if the listing included the phrase "bullet journal" for anything like THE bullet journal, the trademark owner of that phrase would be well within their rights to have the listing removed. Your wife should consider consulting with a knowledgeable trademark attorney before opposing the deactivation.

A: Based on the information provided, it appears that your wife's item on Etsy was deactivated due to a potential trademark infringement. The trademark in question is "Bullet Journal" registered under class 16 in the US. It is important to respect intellectual property rights, including trademarks, to avoid any legal issues. You may want to review the specific policies and guidelines on Etsy regarding trademark infringement and consider reaching out to their support team for more information on the nature of the infringement and how to address it appropriately.
