Nunca he cometido otro delito

A: Consult with a competent and experienced immigration attorney. Depending on the particular statute under which you were charged and convicted, you may or may not have been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude, which could serve as a ground of inadmissibility (legal obstacle to getting a green card). If you were convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude, one would also want to evaluate whether you qualify for what is known as the petty offense exception. Again, considering scheduling a consultation with a competent and experienced immigration attorney. Many attorneys offer online video consultations.
