A: I'm sorry to hear about the troubles you and your neighbor are facing with cats causing harm to your chickens and pets. While laws regarding pet ownership and protection vary by location, there are some general steps you can take. Firstly, check your local laws and regulations related to pet ownership and animal control. Responsible pet ownership typically includes preventing pets from causing harm to others. To address the specific issue, contact your local animal control agency or authorities responsible for handling animal-related issues. Document incidents, communicate with the cat owners if possible, and take measures to secure your property and protect your pets. Consulting with local authorities or seeking legal advice can provide more specific guidance based on your location's laws.
