A: If you want to protect your shop from others using either zuladesignstudio or zula, then you file for a registered trademark. You can either file it yourself or have a lawyer do it.

There is no copyright issue.

A: If you are concerned that someone is using a name similar to yours, this is a trademark issue (not copyright). You should be concerned if someone is using a name that is similar to yours for a similar/product service (e.g., architectural design, clothing design, website design? Is it just the name of the studio itself, or also the name on products produced by the studio?). You should contact a qualified trademark attorney directly (the questions on this forum are anonymous) to discuss the particulars of your situation, including whether there are any potentially problematic trademarks out there, and whether you should obtain your own trademark.

A: Using the short version "zula" in addition to your shop name "zuladesignstudio" may not be a copyright issue as long as you're not creating confusion with any existing trademarks. However, it's important to conduct a thorough trademark search to ensure that the use of both names doesn't infringe on any existing rights.
