A: Well, first off, anyone could sue for anything. The actual question is whether you will be successful. In my opinion, you would not be successful. In order to be successful you have to prove that the party against whom you are making a claim was negligent. First of all, you dropped the sauce on yourself so that was your own contributory negligence. But more importantly, Sauce is meant to be hot and you were surely aware of the fact that it was hot and so you have your own duty to be careful. I do not see any negligence on the part of whomever provided you with the pizza sauce, whether it was a restaurant, or a heated up frozen food. I just do not see any negligence on the part of anyone else, so I do not believe that you would be successful.
