Q: I am having problems with my car insurance company they are telling me that I have to accept the offer but not have sign
A: An Illinois attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for a week. Accepting an offer is up to you. Insurance companies don't usually tell people they have to accept an offer - they might say that the offer is as high as it's going to get, and if they claimant doesn't want to accept, they have to place matter in suit. It's unusual for them to not require signature. They will generally not release funds without a signed release. If you have an attorney on the file, they should advise on this. It may require a closer look than is possible in the brief format of this Q &A forum. Good luck
