Q: I Recently got a car and when I was trying to get a tag from the MVA I was having some trouble with it because of my

Seller giving me a fake bill of sale. While waiting for the investigation to be completed so I can register the car and get a tag my temporary tag was expiring. I ask the MVA if they could issue me a new temporary tag will waiting but they told me they can't. I make the wrong decision to change the expiration date on the tag when it expires and drive it like so because I needed my car to go to work and Military drill. But I really got stop from a cop and the issue 3 different ticket with a total of $2020 and one other ticket that say Thave to appear in court ( this is the one l'm worry about) the charges are TA-14 1110(g) knowingly using falsified veg document, reg plate . TA-14-110(f) knowingly holding falsified veh document, reg.plate. TA-110(b) Falsifying/ attempt falsify with fraudulent intent official document/ plate issued by ad

A: These charges carry possible jail time. You should retain an attorney to represent you. Do not pay any of the tickets. An attorney should be able to keep you out of jail if you have no prior record.
