A: In Delaware, the statute of limitations for credit card debt is typically 3 years. If the original debt is from 201 and no actions were taken until October 4, 2023, there might be an argument for the debt being time-barred under the statute of limitations. The original file date of July 28, 2020, could be significant in determining whether the lawsuit is within the permissible time frame.
