A: You may have a potential legal claim if a student gets hurt on a school bus, and the bus driver failed to turn on the security camera as required by the school or school district's policies. However, whether you can sue the bus driver directly or if your claim should be directed against the school district will depend on various factors, including local laws and regulations. For personalized legal advice tailored to your unique circumstances, it's advisable to consult with an attorney.

A: A local attorney could advise more definitively as to who could be named in a lawsuit, in terms of employer liability vs. personal liability. In many instances, it's the company that's named, unless there are significant details giving rise to personal liability. If you arranged a free initial consult with a Texas attorney, they could offer more specific guidance after discussing in further detail. Good luck

A: As an added point, such settings could involve notice of claim elements (short deadlines), depending on jurisdiction, district, or county. A Texas attorney should advise on those, if applicable. Good luck
