A: When hiring an individual on an H-4 EAD (Employment Authorization Document), your company generally does not need to submit any forms to the Department of Labor or USCIS specifically for their employment. The H-4 EAD allows the holder to work for any employer in the United States without the need for sponsorship.

However, it is important to ensure that their EAD is valid and has not expired. You should follow the usual process of verifying employment eligibility by completing Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification. This form does not need to be submitted to USCIS but must be retained by you, the employer, for inspection if required.

Keep in mind that you are required to comply with all federal and state labor laws, including nondiscrimination practices. Regularly review and stay informed about changes in immigration and employment laws that may impact your obligations as an employer.

In case of any specific concerns or unusual circumstances, consulting with an attorney experienced in immigration and employment law can provide you with tailored advice for your situation. This can help ensure your company remains compliant with all relevant regulations.
