A: We cannot solicit business through these questions and answer. Search on this site, justia.com, for experienced medical malpractice attorneys in the state where this occurred.

The attorneys will want to know the identity of the health care provider, when it occurred, when you suspected malpractice, what harm was caused by the malpractice, what future medical expenses and treatment are expected, will there be future wage loss, and what other harms and losses were suffered.

As there are strict deadlines to bring a lawsuit, do not delay in consulting with attorneys.

A: I'm very sorry for the loss of your mother. As my colleague correctly states, attorneys on this forum cannot solicit work. You could search independently for attorneys online, and try to set up a free initial consult. You could supplement your searches with the "Find a Lawyer" tab above, as well as attorney referral sections of local or state bar associations. Those resources are outside this forum, so any arrangements would be between you and the law firms you reached out to. Good luck
