A: The message you received indicates that USCIS has completed its initial processing of your asylum application and has transferred it to the immigration court for further adjudication. This transfer typically occurs when there are additional factors or complexities in a case that require a decision by an immigration judge.

The fact that you haven't received any mail from USCIS could be due to postal delays or issues with your mailing address. It's important to ensure that USCIS has your current address. You can update your address with them to make sure you receive all future correspondence.

The time it takes for your case to be filed in court and for you to receive a notice can vary. This process can sometimes be lengthy due to the high volume of cases in the immigration courts.

In the meantime, it's crucial to stay informed about your case status. You can do this by contacting the immigration court directly or checking your case status online if you have the necessary details. Also, consider reaching out for legal assistance to navigate through this process, as having legal representation can be beneficial in asylum cases.

A: Regularly check the EOIR online case status using your A Number. If your case has been forwarded and is now on the docket of your immigration court, the system will display the next step. Avoid relying solely on mail.
