Q: A bail bonds place put a claim out because I didn't pay

I was in a physically abusive relationship, and during this time, he made me sign the paperwork making me liable for if his cousin skipped bail. I told him know he punch me in the face and said if I didn't do it, it'll get much worse at home. He forced me to go to his aunt's house and act like I was okay and sign the paperwork to get his cousin's bail. I was scared for my life, he had put me in the hospital many times and almost killed me and threatened to with knives at my neck so I felt like I had no choice. He ended up serving 2 years in prison for felony domestic abuse and felony strangulation.

A: Who made you sign the paperwork making you liable if his cousin skipped bail. Unless "he" is the bondsman, you don't have a case against the bondsman.
