A: A Connecticut attorney could probably answer your question with firsthand knowledge of local firms ("Who is good at this type of litigation," you ask). But the format here does not allow for attorneys to solicit. It's only for Q & A. You'd need to reach out to attorneys on your own. The incoming attorney may be looking at a lien here, as it appears the outgoing attorney placed the matter into suit and handled pre-trial work over the course of about two years. In addition to your own attorney searches, you could use the tab above, "Find a Lawyer (which lists Connecticut attorneys by region and area of practice)," as well as the attorney referral sections of local and state bar associations. Those resources are outside this forum, so any arrangements would be between you and the law firms you might reach out to. I'm sorry for the accident. I hope your wife is okay. Good luck
