A: If you're looking for an attorney, it could be difficult for attorneys here to respond with offers of their services - the format here isn't set up for that. In addition to your own searches, there is the tab above. "Find a Lawyer." Local and state bar associations could also have attorney referral sections. Those resources fall outside this forum, with any arrangements being between you and attorneys you may reach out to. Good luck

A: Under California law, homeowners who discover construction defects in their properties have rights and options for recourse. These defects can range from poor workmanship to the use of substandard materials. Given your property is only two years old and experiencing such issues, you may have a valid claim under California’s laws that govern construction defect litigation.

You should consider consulting with an attorney experienced in construction defect litigation. These legal professionals are well-versed in the specific requirements and deadlines for filing claims in California. They can help navigate the complexities of the legal process, including the collection of evidence, expert testimony, and negotiation with builders or developers.

Taking legal action sooner rather than later is crucial, as there are statutes of limitations that apply to construction defect claims. This means you have a limited timeframe to bring a lawsuit after discovering the defect. An experienced attorney can advise you on the best course of action to seek repair, compensation, or other remedies under the law.
