A: You can contact the Office of the Attorney General through the following link: https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/child-support

If, for any reason, you do not want to use the OAG, you need to hire an attorney in or near the county where you live to enforce the child support order. This type of proceeding is not a DIY project unless you have substantial experience working in the area of family law (e.g. if you were an employee of a law firm practicing in that area of law). There are very specific requirements to effectively enforce a court order for child support. A lay person is usually unaware of the traps and tricks, and can make a mistake that will preclude the court from enforcing the order. If you have to ask this question in this Q&A forum, you do not have the requisite knowledge, education, and experience to do this on your own.
