East Stroudsburg, PA asked in Education Law for New Jersey

Q: My 9 year old child was search in school in front of his classmate because of a missing Pokémon card.

He has never been involved in theft or illegal activities. The teacher search his book bag, desk and pockets and did not find the item. What rights do I have as his parent to defend my child and protect him from this type of violation. I reported to the school district and request that the teacher be removed but it seems nothing is been done.

I need legal representation. Please advise, what can I do legally?
