San Jose, CA asked in Criminal Law and Municipal Law for New York

Q: If a house was raided is there a police report and where would I get this report?

My sister's house was raided. They thought my sister was a drug dealer because she had one guy living with her that was on heroin who was working on her house. He lived there because my sister was tired of picking him up every morning at his house so she made him move in till the job was done,. My sister had called me an told me there were people in the woods around her house which was 3 acres. She had called me back to tell me that they had raided her house. I asked her if she asked them if they had a search warrant. Which now I am learning you don't need one from what I am reading on the internet. My sister passed away and the detective had taken her body to do an autopsy to see what drugs were in her. They had admitted to me they thought she was a drug dealer. I told them if you looked at her medical records you would have seen how sick she was. They are switching their story the last day I met with the police and told me what a good person she was for letting those people live in w
