Do i have to pay a late fee for my apt? I paid my rent on the 1st of the month & got my confirmation email. I keep checking my bank to see when the amount has come out, because I live paycheck to paycheck. Six days later I still have it in my account & now they say I'm late & now I owe $150 late fee. Can they do this?? This is the second month in a row this has happened to me.
