Philadelphia, PA asked in Consumer Law and Real Estate Law for Texas

Q: Hi my home is in a lawsuit since a relator bought my home from someone she knew had falsified signatures

When they tried to evict me in jp court the judge ruled in myfavor and stated that i should not be evicted while the case is pending higher court between the person i bought the house from and thecperson mrs leal bought the home from but she still gets another realator to list the home for sale they tried to evict me, the judge ruled in my favor and stated that I should not be evicted while the case is pending. However, she still got another realtor to list the house and the description says that me and my kids are squatters, and that the title is clear, even though there is a lis pendens. We were terrified as people would try to break in or bang on the windows. We were offered to be taken to a shelter and given a couple hundred dollars to leave our home. As a single mom of two, a boy and a girl i cant explain what this is doing to our lives What are my options?

“there ARE squatters in the house and it would be advised that the buyer have experience with evictions and the process“

A: Win the case that is pending in the higher court. You might be able to persuade the judge in that higher court to grant a temporary injunction prohibiting the realtor from listing the home for sale until the lawsuit is resolved.
