Ozark, MO asked in Contracts, Criminal Law, Business Law and Insurance Bad Faith for Florida

Q: If I disobey , what will happen? Will I go to jail?

I work for the major insurance company named GEICO. GEICO has a non-compete agreement that I had to sign as a condition of my employment at GEICO. The agreement specifically states that I can't use GEICO's leads for my own personal reasons. I also own a life insurance agency on the side.

I intend to take the leads that GEICO gives me an sell life insurance anyway to them while I am selling GEICO's property and casualty insurance policies such as auto and home.

My question is, can I go to jail for doing this? I don't care if GEICO sues me. I am willing to take massive financial losses in an effort to gain market share because my actions are no different than half the fortune 500 companies in America. I ONLY care if my actions will land me in jail. Will my actions land me in jail?
