Q: Was this legal to do?
I'm at my Mom's doing her yard when this happened, I live in Stark County not Harrison. My Mothers long guns were hanging on the open barn door and her revolver was inside. When Officer K. XX of Harrison came buy to see if I was there to serve a bench warrant from Stark County on me. He saw HER guns, confiscated HER 4 guns she bought 18 yrs ago, arrested me and charged me with weapons under disability Section 2923.13A3 . can you help or advise me I need to fight this with a better lawyer. The lawyer I have wants me to take a deal of 1 yr prison and 5 yr probation for doing nothing wrong,,,, He also said they can keep HER guns. My Mom is a prepper and a Life time NRA member. she has no protection now. How can what they did be legal???? Please help me and my Mom and take my case or recommend a colleague. next hearing is 04/30/2024 AT 10:45 AM @ Harrison County Court CR20230090
