Mission, TX asked in Landlord - Tenant for Texas

Q: Landlord trying to charge me for rent 1 month and 2 weeks after i moved out of a month to month lease.

Lease was from october 2020 to october 2021 returned keys to landlord on october 24th and was told needed to pay november bill since i didnt provide 30 day notice. on october 25th 2021 proivded landlord keys, move out notice and payment for november rent that i needed to pay. spoke to apartment manager november to check back on deposit and said he needed to take a look at the apartment and would let me know. contacted him back in december of 2021 and changed the story that he never got any notices and for me to take the notice to him again that was on december 8th i sent them an email with notice and dropped it off to them as well and never contacted me again. was sent to collections in april of 2024 but was never notified before of any balance.
