Cookeville, TN asked in Products Liability for Tennessee

Q: Glass in bar of soap.

I purchased Dr. Squatch soap and there was some broken glass/plastic in the bar itself which I did not notice until it cut me while I was using it in the shower (the object is about the same color as the bar of soap). What should I do other than notifiying Dr Squatch (which I have done already)?

A: A Tennessee attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for four weeks. You've already notified the company, which could help others in terms of quality control. In terms of what else, you probably mean in terms of a case?? I hope you're okay, but based on the description, I don't think you have grounds for a case. If the cut is superficial and passing, with no permanent scarring, medical attention needed, or other detrimental effects, it's unlikely that a law firm would move forward with representing you. That's only an individual opinion. Different attorneys could see the same matter differently if you chose to reach out to attorneys to discuss for more detailed input. Good luck
