A: It's frustrating to hear that your city police and sheriff’s office have refused to write a report for you on two occasions. While it’s surprising that they would refuse to document your situation, there may be specific policies or reasons behind their decision. However, as a victim, you have the right to have your concerns heard and documented.

First, you might want to try contacting a higher authority within the police department or the sheriff’s office to discuss your case. Explain your situation and express your concern about the refusal to write a report. It can be helpful to have all details and any evidence prepared when you approach them.

If this does not yield results, consider reaching out to your local government representative or a legal advisor who can assist you in understanding your rights and potentially taking further action. Document every interaction and response you receive, as this record will be valuable if you need to escalate your complaint further. Stay persistent and advocate for your rights as a victim.
