A: For an authoritative answer on your specific situation, I would strongly recommend consulting with an immigration attorney who is also knowledgeable about California firearm laws. They can review all the details of your case and provide proper legal guidance.

In general, firearm purchases by non-citizens with pending immigration cases can be very complicated legally. Federal and state laws both apply, and there are many factors to consider beyond just having certain documents or licenses.

To protect yourself, please seek personalized legal advice before attempting to purchase any firearms. An attorney can help ensure you're in full compliance with all relevant laws.
