A:
A Mississippi attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. Until you're able to discuss this with a Mississippi attorney, my advice to you is -
Please don't drive the vehicle without insurance... period. It is treated as a misdemeanor in many jurisdictions.
In terms of a lawsuit arising from an accident, there's no telling who an aggressive and determined plaintiff would go after. The other vehicle would ordinarily turn to their UM coverage (uninsured motorist) - but that isn't a safety net that provides a "pass" to drive without insurance - it's a safety net for the occupants of the other vehicle. Good luck
