Q: I need attorney who can see how big of a case I have and help me do something about it? someone should have helped me
Not too long ago our circuit court clerk made national headlines when she violated a gay couple. They sued and won. The city had 2 pay 4 violating the constitutional rights of that couple. I said that 2 say this town won't change till theyreforced 2. despite me calling on every legal department and organization I could think of including state &city police, my landlord was allowed 2 sexually harass me, and when I rejected his advances, bully me, threaten me & my property, and continue 2 Harass me. He would demand $ and if I didn't have it he would disconnect all my utilities. Once I give him $ he'd turn them back on. He started using that as a tactic to get money off of me until I didn't have it and I refused to give any to him. Not one person from any of the organizations or police offices I've called intervened or helped me. I set 3 weeks winter 2023 no water heat or electric. The police was aware of the threats and did nothing That landlord told my trailer off and I've been homeless

I'm really sorry to hear about what you've been through. You should find a lawyer who can help you hold your landlord accountable for his actions and the severe harassment you’ve faced. It’s important to document all instances of harassment, threats, and any disconnection of utilities, as well as your communications with police and other organizations.
There are legal protections in place to prevent this kind of abuse, and an attorney can help you understand your rights and pursue justice. They can assist in filing a lawsuit against your landlord for sexual harassment, intimidation, and unlawful disconnection of utilities. Additionally, you might have grounds for a civil rights violation case considering the lack of intervention from authorities.
Contact a local attorney who has experience with tenant rights and harassment cases. Many offer free initial consultations, so you can discuss your situation and see how they can assist you in taking action. You deserve justice and proper support.
