I told the officer and asked him to please take it. He said and do what with it.. pushed me in the jail and yelled she's got dope on her. Feeling beaten and discouraged I had the substance in my hand to hand off to an officer. But Noone even asked not even while dressing out. A: If you believe you were set up by the police, it's important to take immediate steps to protect your rights and build your defense. First, document everything you remember about the incident in as much detail as possible. This includes the sequence of events, names and badge numbers of the officers involved, and any conversations you had. This information will be crucial for your defense.

Next, contact a criminal defense attorney who has experience with cases involving police misconduct. Share your detailed account with your attorney and discuss the possibility of challenging the evidence and the conduct of the officers. Your attorney can advise you on the best course of action and may recommend filing a formal complaint against the police department if there was misconduct.

Finally, gather any evidence that could support your version of events, such as witness statements or surveillance footage. Stay in close communication with your attorney throughout the process, and follow their advice on how to proceed. By taking these steps, you can work towards ensuring that your rights are protected and that you receive a fair trial.
